Each talk is exclusive to staff at your business and features a multimedia presentation followed by a question and answer session.

The average length of presentation is a comfortable 35 minutes, with up to 10/15 minutes of
Q & A, designed to be delivered during a lunch hour. The talk can also be presented after working hours if this is more suitable.

The talks aim to raise awareness on health topics including the current most effective methods for exercise and useful guidance on healthy eating and weight management.

They are given at no charge to businesses in my local area (Surrey/Kent) and there is no obligation for attendees to sign up to any of my services.

 
 

healthy eating made simple

There have never been more styles of dieting, nutritional trends and food choices than there are right now.

One problem that so much choice creates is knowing which trend is truly healthy and which may be false. It seems there is much confusion when it comes to nutrition on a day to day basis.

This talk aims to reveal the simple science behind healthy eating choices and includes how to manage and modify body weight, how to determine whether to gain or lose weight and how to get to a healthy body fat percentage.

the exercise prescription

Government health advertising and local GP’s frequently promote the benefits of a more active lifestyle. Yet few health professionals have formulated an exact plan on how best to fit that in amongst the lifestyle of a busy professional.

The WHO (World Health Organisation) identifies that we are leading increasingly busier lifestyles and at the same time becoming less physically active.

This trend is contributing to everything from non specific back pain (a leading cause of sick days off work) to disease and ill health, that cuts an otherwise productive life shorter than it could have been.

The Exercise Prescription talk provides details on a handful of simple but highly potent exercises that can be performed in almost all gyms by almost all participants.

They have been especially selected to be time efficient, simple and highly effective.

At a time when exercise is now increasingly being seen as not just entertainment but a form of medicine the Exercise Prescription is the precise knowledge on how to best spend time exercising for health, appearance and long-term wellbeing for a long well lived life.

In this talk I share the practical lessons I learned from spending up to 26 weeks a year flying internationally for work.

My career required that I often fly into a location and be able to perform on the day of arrival to a high degree of precision. This involved time changes, temperature changes and managing challenging situations throughout.
